Service version nz-2026-10-15.2 · data version nz-public-2026-10-15.5.
Public test (from 2026-10-15)
- 2026-10-15: when a connection has used up its requests for the day, the error now says roughly how many hours until the limit resets, and
Retry-Aftergives the seconds. It used to say to try again in a minute. Too many requests in a minute still means waiting a minute. The same change applies to the United States service. - 2026-10-15: one MCP address for every country.
https://api.findadoctor.si/mcpnow also serves New Zealand: decide the country first (ask the person when it is unclear, for example a Hamilton with no other clue), then passcountry: "NZ"tosearch_doctors,list_specialtiesandabout_database.get_doctorreads the country from thenz_id;search_gp_practicesandpublic_waitlistneed nocountry. The New Zealand-only addresshttps://api-nz.findadoctor.si/mcpand the HTTP API athttps://api-nz.findadoctor.siare unchanged; the HTTP API does not takecountry. This service’s own/llms.txtand MCP server card now point to the shared address. Through the shared address, New Zealand evidence is counted per network address; an account key applies to the United States only. - 2026-10-15: New Zealand service launched as a public test, with no sign-up: MCP at
https://api-nz.findadoctor.si/mcpand an HTTP API athttps://api-nz.findadoctor.si/api/v1/…, with six read-only tools (search_doctors,get_doctor,search_gp_practices,list_specialties,public_waitlist,about_database). Short lists are free; without an account, each network address can open 5 different doctors’ evidence a day, counted separately from the United States. Data version nz-public-2026-10-15.5: the whole Medical Council of New Zealand public register (about 21,000 practising doctors), about 7,800 doctors listed on Healthpoint, 1,020 GP practices, and Health NZ public waiting lists for 20 districts. Listed in the MCP Registry assi.findadoctor.api-nz/nz-doctor-finder; the GitHub repository covers New Zealand. The privacy policy and terms now cover New Zealand (effective 2026-10-15).
