# Corrections and removal (France)

This page is for doctors in France. If something we show about you is wrong, you want your listing removed from this service, or you object to our use of your data under the French Data Protection Act (loi n° 78-17 Informatique et Libertés) and the GDPR, tell us and we will act on it.

## Where each fact comes from

- **RPPS register** (Annuaire Santé: specialty, practice addresses, competences, diplomas): shown as the open-data extract published it. Changes to your registration are made with your Ordre des médecins or on [annuaire.sante.fr](https://annuaire.sante.fr/); they appear here after our next read.
- **Assurance Maladie directory** (fee category, practice phone): shown as published. Changes are made with your Caisse primaire d'assurance maladie.
- **Maiia and hospital pages** (stated expertise, languages, fees, booking): we show what your page said when we read it. Update the page and the change appears here after our next read; we can also correct or remove it here on request.
- **Open CCAM** hospital figures are published by ATIH and cannot be changed here.
- **Transparence Santé** declarations are made by companies. To correct a declaration, contact the company that made it; the public database is at [transparence.sante.gouv.fr](https://www.transparence.sante.gouv.fr/). If we attached a declaration to the wrong doctor, that is our error and we fix it.
- **Our own matching.** If we attached a profile page or a declaration to the wrong doctor, that is our error and we fix it.

## How to ask

Email contact@findadoctor.si with:

- your name and RPPS number;
- what is wrong, what you want removed, or what you object to;
- where you saw it (the tool result or page link).

## How long it takes

We reply within 3 business days. Once we can confirm the request (we may check it against the register or your profile page), we make the change within 14 days, or tell you why it needs longer. A removal stays in effect when we rebuild the data from new reads. AI agents that already copied an answer may keep showing it until they search again. You can also contact the French data protection authority, the [CNIL](https://www.cnil.fr/).

**Patients:** we hold no patient records and cannot change medical records. For your own records, contact your doctor.
