## Public test (from 2026-10-16)

- 2026-10-16: France service launched as a public test, with no sign-up.
  - **Connect:** MCP at `https://api.findadoctor.si/mcp` with `country: "FR"` (the address for every country), or the France-only address `https://api-fr.findadoctor.si/mcp`. There is also an HTTP API at `https://api-fr.findadoctor.si/api/v1/…`, which does not take `country`.
  - **Tools (five, read-only):** `search_doctors`, `get_doctor`, `hospital_procedure_volumes`, `list_specialties` and `about_database`.
  - **Allowance:** short lists and hospital volumes are free. Without an account, each network address can open 5 different doctors' evidence a day, counted separately from the United States and New Zealand.
  - **Data version fr-public-2026-10-16.3:**
    - the RPPS register (Annuaire Santé, about 267,000 doctors) and the Assurance Maladie directory (fee categories), both extracts of 2026-10-12;
    - about 10,000 Maiia and hospital profile pages;
    - Open CCAM hospital procedure volumes for 2021–2025;
    - Transparence Santé industry declarations (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, in `get_doctor` only).
  - **Listings and policies:** listed in the MCP Registry as `si.findadoctor.api-fr/fr-doctor-finder`; the [GitHub repository](https://github.com/simonlin1212/findadoctor-mcp) covers France. The privacy policy and terms now cover France (effective 2026-10-16).
